March 23, 19^4- CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS During the week ended March 22 member bank reserve balances decreased $300,000,000, Reductions in member' bank reserves arose from an increase of $/jl3,000,000 in Treasury deposits with federal Reserve Banks and a decrease of $70,000,000 in gold stock, offset in part by an increase of $79^000,000 in Reserve Bunk credit and decreases of $72,000,000 in money in circulation and $29,'>00,000 in nonmember deposits and other Federal Reserve accounts.
