I li.il CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS During the wefek ended November 1 member bank resenve. balances increased $143*000,000, Additions to member bank reserves arose from an increase of $366,000*000 in Reserve Bank credit and a decrease of $13,000,000 in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks, offset in part by increases of $193*000,000 in money in circulation* $13,900,000 in Treasury cash and $29,000,000. in nonmernber deposits and other Federal Reserve accounts,. Excess reserves of member banks on November 1 were estimated to be approximately $900,000,000, Holdings of loans, discounts and advances increased $37*000,000 and of United States Government securities $344,000,000.
