FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS . During the week ended July 11 member bank reserve balances decreased $152,000,000. Reductions in member bank reserves arose from a decrease of $221,000,000 in Reserve Bank credit and an increase "of $98,000,000 in money in circulation, offset in part by decreases of $82,000,000 in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks, $55,000,000 in Treasury cash and $27,000,000 in nonmember deposits and other Federal Reserve accounts.; Excess reserves of member banks on July 11'were estimated to be approximately $1,1+00,000,000. 'Holdings of loans, discounts and advances increased $3l+,000,000 while holdings of United States Government securities decreased $201,000,000« The de crease in holdings of-United States Government securities reflects a decrease of $201,000,000 in‘bills.
