Released for publication Board rf Governors Friday morning, Nov, 30} of the Federal Reserve System not earlier, November 29, 19^5 CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS During the week ended November 28 member bank reserve balances increased $324,000,000, Additions to member bank reserves arose from an increase of $433,000,000 in Reserve Bank credit and decreases of $29,000,000 in money in circulation, $3,000/000 in Treasury cash and $8,000,000 in*nonmeinber deposits and other Federal Reserve accounts, offset in part by an increase of $147*000,000 in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks. Excess reserves of member banks on November 28 were estimated to be approximately $1,520,000,000# iioldings of loans, discounts and advances increased $161,000,000 and of United States Government securities $303,000,000, The increase in holdings of United States Government securities reflects increases o f1$137,000,000 in b ills, $119,000,000 in certificates and $48,000,000 in notes.
