Holdings of loans,>discounts and advances increased $96,000*000 while holdings of United "States ^Government securities increased $1^)4,000,000« The in crease^ in holdings of United States Government securities reflects increases of $U95.0000btfin bills/ $10,^00,000 in-notes and $7,000,000 in certificates and a f decrease of $16,000,000 in bonds.
