BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM (For Immediate Release) February 14, 1952 CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS Member Bank Reserves and Related Items . _ During the week ended February 13, Member bank reserves decreased $5' million. The principal changes reducing reserves were increases of $209 million in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks and $47 million in Money in circulation. The principal offsetting changes were increases of $97 million in Reserve BanK credit and $21 million in Gold stock, and decreases of $4l million in Treasury cash holdings and $34 million in Foreign deposits with Federal Reserve Banks. increase of $97 million in Reserve Bank credit resulted from an in- .*337 million in Loans, discounts and advances, and decreases of no m^lllon in Floa-t and $115 million in U.
