BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM g.4.1 (For Immediate Release) May 1, 1952 CONDITION OF THE FEDERAL RESERVE BANKS Member Bank Reserves and Related Items During the week ended April 30, Member bank reserves increased $65 million. The principal changes supplying reserves were decreases of *427 million in Treasury deposits with Federal Reserve Banks, $75 million in Other F. R. accounts (net), and $20 million in Foreign deposits with Federal Reserve Banks. The principal offsetting changes were a decrease of $3*1 million in Reserve Bank credit and an increase of $127 million in money in circulation. The decrease of $341 million in Reserve Bank credit resulted from decreases of $178 million in Float, $154 million in Loans, discounts and advances, and $9 million in U. S. Government securities. Holdings of U. S.
