The Federal Reserve Board on Wednesday announced its approval of the application by Community Bank System, Inc., DeWitt, New York, to acquire Oneida Financial Corp., and thereby indirectly acquire Oneida Savings Bank, both of Oneida, New York, and State Bank of Chittenango, Chittenango, New York.
